Urban niches and punctuated facades consisting of brickwork

Seen on a ground plan of the city, the building concept presents itself as a coherent figure resembling a fish with head, bones and tail. The development structure consists of an eleven-storey head construction as a high-rise building, three eight-storey H-shaped blocks and a nine-storey U-shaped block turned at 90° to the former.

The complexes are separated from each other by streets and 6m-wide building-high urban niches. The ensemble is based on fixed points of Grassi in respect to the H-shaped building type, the dimensions, façades and the materials. The external façades of the longitudinal wings and head thus consist of a fully homogenous, uniform punctuated façades comprised of red brickwork.
